James’ interest in prediction markets began with a simple question: How do markets process information? He saw that investors and analysts make forecasts every day, but much of that knowledge remains scattered across research, social media, and private discussions.

This led him to prediction markets, where participants put capital behind their views. His company, Glimpse, was built around this concept, creating a financial forecasting platform where participants can express market conviction, earn Bitcoin for accurate predictions, and contribute to a real-time view of market expectations.
According to James, prediction markets are gaining attention because traditional forecasts can struggle to keep pace with rapidly changing information. Unlike static reports, prediction markets continuously update as participants respond to new developments.
He also believes traditional Bitcoin price forecasts have a key limitation: accountability. Analysts can make multiple predictions without consistently being measured on their accuracy. Prediction markets introduce financial incentives, encouraging participants to demonstrate conviction through their positions.
Market-based forecasting can also provide insights that complement technical and fundamental analysis. By bringing together diverse perspectives, prediction markets create a continuously changing probability distribution that shows how market expectations are evolving.
